Small Flex Nest

The Small Flex Nest is a 3D printed modular nest. Its designed for founding queens and small colonies. The nest has 1 connector.

The Small nest has the most options for an insert.

The Gypsum Teardrop is the most versatile insert. Its easy to hydrate and will stay hydrated the longest. Because of the bend before the chamber the ants feel very safe with small numbers.

The Gypsum Micro is a insert with smaller and less deep chambers. For some small species a very good starter. And for some smaller species a forever home.

The Gypsum Big Chamber insert is made for founding larger ants. Still the advantage of gypsum for great hydration. But big enough for bigger ants to have space.

The Wood Teardrop is a insert not suited for all ants. Be sure your species likes dryer conditions. Or are great in managing the humidity themselfs. Colony size also needs be taken into consideration.

The Cork Teardrop is again a insert not suited for all ants. Same as wood its for species that like dryer conditions. But its also a lot softer then wood. Species can “dig” around and expand the chambers.

Because of the printed housing, acrilic lid and dedicated inserts. All nests have a great seal for all ant sizes. Even if its a digging or chewing species.
